And it also happens to be a period correct, 26 years old Momo Typ D35 :)

Same size as my old steering, a little bit thicker which is good considering I have big hands and with a MUCH better leather quality. Happy :)

Your rev counter goes to 11. Spinal Tap approves.

Yeah but the car only goes to 9000rpm at the very best so.... :)

Sure Spinal Tap still approves though haha

looks special, and is rather user-friendly too, because the shift lever itself leans back a lot in 2nd, 4th and reverse.

You know I never really liked the factory ‘wheels in the 505, those somehow don’t work. And not just because they are too big, but because they don’t look right, to me at least. Only exception is this one, included in a rare factory-approved tuning kit...

I’m guessing the original was the same as in my grand father’s 305?

Kinja'd!!!

If so I personnaly like it a lot :)

It’s quirky and a bit ugly just like it should be haha

Nah, the 505 is meatier, but also less of a design-item. I hate this one the most:

Though my was a bit different, but the same design. The original 1979 version is a bit better, though still not something i would like to use for spirited driving:

I’ve got a very similar one in my car and it’s staying with my when I sell the car next summer! I love those wheels.

That gauge cluster is FANTASTIC! Is it a stock item or a vintage RE piece?

I have yet to really try it actually but even though I didn’t use it much, I really like it :)

That thing is danged classy. Its also nice you can see everything through the primary loop, which I can only do if I tilt my wheel and recline my seat just right.

Kinja'd!!!

Anyway Woo welcome to the free Momo wheel club! My model 80 came with my car.
